From: °BSΩLE+e ; Year: 1998; Genre: Alternative Metal I remember first hearing this cover/re-recording of the iconic new wave track by the metal band Fear Factory with songwriter Gary Numan from the intro of the video game Test Drive 6 back in the day. Until recently it had slipped my mind somewhat, but it slipped back into my mind once more and I thought it would make a nice pick for my blog. From: The Pleasure Principle ; Year: 1979; Genre: Synthpop/New Wave Yeah, this song brings back many memories; even definitely a classic hit that is one of those tracks that hearkens you back to the 1980s (even though it was released in '79).
