From: Cookin' on The Roof; Year: 1983; Genre: Rockabilly Roman Holliday is one of the bands from the 1980s that, in my opinion, never seems to get the attention or fame they deserve. From: Cookin' on the Roof ; Year: 1983; Genre: New Wave/Rockabilly Whilst working on the yard yesterday I had this song pop into my mind and continue to stay there. I have not heard it for over 30 years or thereabouts, so I don't know where it came from; but I'll take it as a sign I should pick it. I had to do a search to find the band that did it, but they sound, at least in this song, like a new wave Stray Cats to my ears.
