William's Song a Day Blog - est. September 2007

From: Frizzle Fry ; Year: 1990; Genre: Funk Rock/Alternative Rock There's always something quite unique and special about early Primus; nothing sounds like them. I've always loved the way their music is disjointed and dissonant, but at the same time, at least for me personally, cannot help but rock out and move to their grooves.    Hear To Defy the Laws of Tradition on YouTube.         My song pick 1 year ago today: Pallas - Flashpoint     My song pick 2 years ago today: Steeleye Span - Old Matron   My song pick 3 years ago today: Rose Royce - Funk Factory   My song pick 4 years ago today: The Vaughan Brothers - Brothers   My song pick 5 years ago today: Dobie Gray - The 'In' Crowd   My song pick 6 years ago today: Ozric Tentacles - Dissolution (The Clouds Disperse)   My song pick 7 years ago today: Bob Dylan - Main Title Theme (Billy) My song pick 8 years ago today: Pat Metheny - Bright Size Life My song p...

From: Antipop ; Year: 1999; Genre: Funk Metal/Funk Rock Going with the hard and funky track from Primus for this Funky Friday pick.
