3957. Buddy Holly - Everyday

Image
From Buddy Holly ; Year: 1958; Genre: Rock 'n Roll/Pop Been messing around with his music lately and thus has been in my head a lot lately. 2405 Buddy Holly - Crying, Waiting, Hoping

Image
From: The Buddy Holly Story Vol.2 ; Year: 1960, (1959); Genre: Rock 'n Roll Over the last month there was a lot of Buddy Holly's music being played, being that it was the 55th anniversary of his death. This was one of his songs that I heard recently, which brought it back to my attention and I thought I would pick it today. I've always loved the way that he arranged it with the pauses in the vocals, but my favourite part is his overdubbed guitar work. Hear Crying, Waiting, Hoping on YouTube. Song 471 ( Buddy Holly & the Crickets - Well... All Right )

Image
I realized that I had not chosen anything from the musical legend Buddy Holley as of yet; this is one of my favorites among his songs and I had to choose it. It is more of a straight-ahead smoother Rock song than a lot of his other, more audacious hits. Hear Well... Alright on YouTube. +
