From: Revenge ; Year: 1986; Genre: New Wave/Blues Rock/Soul Had this song come on yesterday whilst driving and thought that I should pick another track from the Eurythmics; lo and behold I discovered that Missionary Man had not graced my blog as of yet, so yeah, I am definitely choosing it today. What I find the most interesting about this song is how they mix genres that don't usually go together to make a very unique song, which is a key aspect of the Eurythmics' sound. From: Touch ; Year: 1983; Genre: New Wave/Synthpop After seeing the title to this song I immediately had it playing through my mind; I have to say it definitely brings back memories. The Eurythmics are probably one of the bands that imprinted the electronic sounds of the early 1980s on my mind. I'm actually kind of surprised I had not picked one of their songs yet; I thought I did.
