From: Genesis ; Year: 1968; Genre: Psychedelic Rock Thought that I would give this band another, closer listen; this time, their debut album. I love bands like these where they are essentially a "supergroup," but instead of already successful musicians joining forces, these are successful musicians in the making that would go on elsewhere for it. From: To Samuel A Son ; Year: 1969; Genre: Psychedelic Rock I have been aware of this band for quite some times, but only recently have decided to delve into their music. For those not aware, the majority of the members who came and went through the existence of The Gods went on to become famous or played in other bands that became quite famous. These bands include: Uriah Heep, The Rolling Stones, Jethro Tull, The Motels, and King Crimson just to name a few. On this, their second and final album under the name The Gods, featured, I believe, Ken Hensley , Joe Konas, Lee Kerslake , and John Glascock . After this album they apparently released a third record under the name Head Machine.
