Just like many others, Murray Head had other successes beyond the monster hit song One Night in Bangkok from the Broadway show Chess . For some reason last night whist I was trying to get to sleep this song was running through my mind keeping me awake; I took this that it was time to pick it. This song's music was written by Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus from ABBA and the lyrics were written by legendary lyricist Tim Rice for the musical Chess. A lot of the lyrics are tongue-in-cheek about the city in which the supposed chess tournament was being held; it has a disco feel to it with Murray Head talk-singing through the verses.
