From: Dedication ; Year: 1976; Genre: Rock/Pop Just needed something familiar sounding to listen to; I thought something from a band I liked in the style of mid-late 1970s mainstream rock would work. Yesterday's Hero was one of the hits off the record and is also a cover originally written and recorded by Australian musicians/songwriters Harry Vanda and George Young . Been hearing more and more '70s pop since it's been featured in some of the Marvel super hero films, which is most likely why I'm hearing it more. From: Dedication ; Year: 1976; Genre: Rock/Power Pop This one came on yesterday, and I realized that I had not picked one from the Bay City Rollers yet. Whilst they and their music are not my favourite variety, I do like them and I grew up hearing them a lot; both of my parents loved their music.
