From: The Lizard ; Year: 1992; Genre: Rock/Alternative Rock Truthfully I have never been heavy into Saigon Kick except for their song Chanel , which is a novelty track from the end of this album, and a total blast to play along with. Other than their hit Love is on the Way , that was played ad nauseam on the radio, I mostly heard the band through different people who owned the CD, and most of them liked the deeper cuts anyway, which is where I learned of the song Chanel . 1525 Saigon Kick - Chanel From: The Lizard , Year: 1992 Genre: Jazz/Rock/Pop Periodically I check for certain songs that I've been wanting to pick to appear on YouTube. Well, it just so happens that someone had uploaded this gem to the site a few months ago, so I'm making it today's pick. This is my favourite song from the band; I especially like the walking bass line. The jazzy sound of this track contrasts quite a bit from what you would probably think of when you think of Saigon Kick's music. This song's odd lyrics and musical style give it a lot of distinction.
