William's Song a Day Blog - est. September 2007

From: FEVER DREAM ; Year: 2019; Genre: Indie Rock I decided to give this album a listen recently and was surprised that thus far this is the only song I have heard that I like, which is kind of sad in my opinion. Most of the music on the disc is very modern pop oriented, but at least this song still has some of the sound from their previous albums that I really liked. Hear Alligator on YouTube. From: My Head is an Animal ; Year: 2011; Genre: Indie Rock It seems as if every day I hear this song from the Icelandic group Of Monsters and Men on the radio, and I have to say that it has grown on me a bit. Probably the part of the song that I like the most is the launch into the chorus, which contrasts with the verses; I absolutely love how they used Nanna Hilmarsdóttir's vocals in the chorus and Ragnar Þórhallsson's in the verses.
