William's Song a Day Blog - est. September 2007

From: Shuttered Room ; Year: 1982; Genre: New Wave Boy, this one brings back some memories; the whole song is excellent in my opinion all the way across the board, I just love the early 80s New Wave sound. Anyway, this is a rather dark song about a coming nuclear war/apocalypse, those raised in the '80s and decades before will know the feeling of constant doom everyone felt during the Cold War ; literally we did not know if we'd make it to adulthood. That's the feelings they covey in Red Skies , it's a truly well-written and produced track. Hear Red Skies on YouTube.
