For a "pop" song, they certainly made a lot of effort to complicate it somewhat and plus you gotta love the lyrics that seem superficial and people have labeled it as a drug song, but it's much, much deeper lyrically. This one's probably mostly known for the overuse of tremolo on the guitar and in the bridge on the vocals. One interesting factoid about this song is that it is essentially their hit song I Think We're Alone Now in reverse; back then it was actually quite a prevalent practice to do so.
