From: To Samuel A Son; Year: 1969; Genre: Psychedelic Rock
I have been aware of this band for quite some times, but only recently have decided to delve into their music. For those not aware, the majority of the members who came and went through the existence of The Gods went on to become famous or played in other bands that became quite famous. These bands include: Uriah Heep, The Rolling Stones, Jethro Tull, The Motels, and King Crimson just to name a few. On this, their second and final album under the name The Gods, featured, I believe, Ken Hensley, Joe Konas, Lee Kerslake, and John Glascock. After this album they apparently released a third record under the name Head Machine.
Anyway, it's really neat to hear a lot of these talented artists as young as they were here with their developing chops and styles.
