I really did not have a song ready to pick, so once again I "spun" the playlist and this one came up. I really got into this song when I watched the "Arch Allies" concert on T.V. a while ago. When the song started, their bassist Bruce Hall started off with a nice bass solo that got my attention. I really like that the song has a real hard edge to it, plus the guitar is excellent.

Both are probably most noted for playing integral parts in James Brown's band and the creation of the funk genre, but both also have an extensive amount of collaborations with many, many artists. The Joker is always one of my "go to" of his records and is really that bridge between his more grassroots blues rock and his more mainstream and commercially successful brand. I would have to put Shu Ba Da Du Ma Ma Ma Ma as one with aspects of both past and future versions of his sound. 1038 The Who - Rael (1 and 2) For no reason whatsoever I felt like choosing this one today. While being a Pop song, The Who still keep it as musically interesting as ever. From what I understand there was a re-release of The Who Sell Out with another Rael 2, which can be found here on YouTube ; on that release this song was apparently retitled as just Rael 1 .
