Song 158 (Rush--"The Body Electric")

I was playing along with this song last night and thought that it would be an excellent pick. The best part of this song for me is the drums; even though it is still in a basic 4/4 time signature Neil Peart really makes it sound like it's so much more. Everything else in the song blends very well together; I really like how they are able to play Sci-Fi lyrics and make it listenable to everyone. This is one of my favourite, if not my favourite, Rush album, which is a bit odd I guess, mostly because many Rush fans dislike much of it.

Both are probably most noted for playing integral parts in James Brown's band and the creation of the funk genre, but both also have an extensive amount of collaborations with many, many artists. The Joker is always one of my "go to" of his records and is really that bridge between his more grassroots blues rock and his more mainstream and commercially successful brand. I would have to put Shu Ba Da Du Ma Ma Ma Ma as one with aspects of both past and future versions of his sound. 1038 The Who - Rael (1 and 2) For no reason whatsoever I felt like choosing this one today. While being a Pop song, The Who still keep it as musically interesting as ever. From what I understand there was a re-release of The Who Sell Out with another Rael 2, which can be found here on YouTube ; on that release this song was apparently retitled as just Rael 1 .
