This is a very late pick for me tonight, so I'll have to make it quick. I used to think that his incredible stage show and persona overshadowed his music a bit, but over the years I have noticed quite a few times just how technical his music actually can be.

Harry Chapin has always been one that had some influence on me and my musical tastes; most will remember him for his giant hit Cat's in the Cradle , but in the short time he was on this Earth writing and recording he made a profound mark. He is another one of those troubadours poets that told amazingly detailed tales within all of his songs. This song is kind of a "scrapbooking" track in that it follows a couple throughout their lives at various points. The main theme is how you put off your dreams and aspirations when family life comes into being.
