This is probably Jaco's best known bass solo. It is quite bombastic and flashy, as to be expected with a solo on any instrument. While not really listenable to the ears of the average listener, to a connoisseur of music, (especially a bassist), it is quite nice to listen to. To create this live masterpiece he used loops and effects on his bass along with his incredible talent and showmanship.

Okay, What is this "Song a Day Blog?" Well, this is a hobby of mine that I have been at for over 18 years now, (since September First, 2007), in which I set aside a few minutes every day to create my ultimate playlist in a diary form, if you will. I try to add a different song each day and share with those who are interested as to why I like the song and the artist that performed it and/or maybe some facts about them.
