Song 484 ( The Kinks - Father Christmas )

This rather neat Christmas song from The Kinks is about a department store Santa Claus getting beat up by a gang of kids who demand money instead of presents. There is a hint of classism in this song in that the gang of kids is poor and are angry that Santa only gives the good presents to "the little rich boys;" even one asks for Santa to give his father a job.
The song is very Kinks sounding with a touch of punk to create the raucous feeling of the song.

Here is a music video on YouTube.
