This was one of the songs that played on my iPod while I was on the road recently, which prompted me to play the entire Power Windows album today whilst getting caught up on work.
This song is about the project that brought about the atomic bomb and the use of it in the waning days of WWII on Japan. From what I understand Neil Peart did a lot of research on the Manhattan Project before writing the song.
Even with the heavy subject matter and extremely descriptive lyrics the song is still is quite listenable to the casual listener and has quite a few hooks within.
