While I don't dislike John Mellencamp, I'm kind of a lukewarm fan of his music; some of it clicks with me and others don't.
Anyway; I've had this song on my mind for the past few days and I thought it'd make a good addition to my song-a-day blog. Like most of his music it's deceptively simple and has melodies that catch your ear pretty well.

Okay, What is this "Song a Day Blog?" Well, this is a hobby of mine that I have been at for over 18 years now, (since September First, 2007), in which I set aside a few minutes every day to create my ultimate playlist in a diary form, if you will. I try to add a different song each day and share with those who are interested as to why I like the song and the artist that performed it and/or maybe some facts about them.
