6842. Soundgarden - Holy Water

From: Badmotorfinger; Year: 1991; Genre: Alternative Metal
For me it is very difficult to say one of Soundgarden's albums is "my favourite," I just love them all and can listen from front to back, everyone of them. I will say though, there is something special about Badmotorfinger; truthfully I cannot say I dislike a single track on it. Maybe it's because I was becoming a teen when it dropped and thus hit me a the perfect moment; who knows, right?
The dynamics are amazing on this one with both hard-hitting de-tuned riffs shaking the Earth, and somewhat quieter and intricate, but just as heavy sections. Of course the musicianship and writing are near perfect, and Chris Cornell showing off his unmatched vocals throughout.
