I had another track in mind for my pick today, but after finding out that today would have been guitarist/producer/inventor extraordinaire Les Paul's 96th birthday I figured I would pick one of his tracks instead.
There were actually quite a few that immediately came to mind, however his rendition of this great Jazz standard seemed like an excellent choice for today.

Okay, What is this "Song a Day Blog?" Well, this is a hobby of mine that I have been at for over 18 years now, (since September First, 2007), in which I set aside a few minutes every day to create my ultimate playlist in a diary form, if you will. I try to add a different song each day and share with those who are interested as to why I like the song and the artist that performed it and/or maybe some facts about them.
