From: 16th Avenue; Year: 1982; Genre: Country
This one was running through my mind this morning; I have some early memories of this song, one of those tracks that hides in the back of your head until something triggers it to the forefront.
Anyway, 16th Avenue is a piece about the recording industry in Nashville and people seeking their fame and fortune and most coming up short of their dreams. I love the music and the vocals throughout this one; you can hear a lot of blues influence.
