I randomly decided on some Steeleye Span for today's pick. This more raucous version of the traditional Scots folk tune has a very moody and tense feel to it, mostly due to the subject matter of the Jacobite Rebellion and such. Maddy Prior did an incredible delivery of the vocals showing off her ability to shift pitches flawlessly.
