From: Wake Up the Wicked; Year: 2024; Genre: Power Metal
The blend of faith and carnal pleasures I suppose is a hallmark of a great deal of music traditionally, and of course, the many metal genres have embraced this century's old subject.
I really like how the German power metal band Powerwolf wrote this one; not really focusing on the vulgarity or the overall extreme carnal nature, but really blends to show not only a tug-o-war, but a simpatico nature between the two erroneously perceived opposing forces. The urgency and overall feeling of the galloping music really adds to this greatly as well.
