6688. Bad Company - Can't Get Enough
![]() |
| From: Bad Company; Year: 1974; Genre: Blues Rock |
Been a while since I chose a song from Bad Company, and they have been on my mind off and on for the last few days, so why not? For most this was their first taste of this storied supergroup being that it was their first single and the lead track on their eponymous debut record. The majority of the album's content has and still does get a lot of play; definitely a classic.
Anyway, whilst I have never considered myself a huge fan of the band, this track is amongst their songs that I have always liked' something about that shuffling rhythm and blues rock styling. Also noticed that many of their song that I like from Bad Company were either authored or co-authored by guitarist Mick Ralphs, who sadly passed away last year. He's one of those unsung musicians that is amazing as both a musical virtuoso and songwriter, but never full got the attention he deserved in either Mott the Hoople or Bad Company.
