3611. The Hollywood Argyles - Alley Oop

From: The Hollywood Argyles; Year: 1960; Genre: Rock 'n Roll/Comedy
I felt like something light-hearted and comedic this morning and this one written about the comic featuring the caveman of the song's namesake. Basically, from what I understand, The Hollywood Argyles were more or less a band made up of studio musicians, and they do a great job of it.
The beatnik inspired vocals are really wot makes it so good and fun to listen to.
