Been thinking about choosing a song from jazz legend John Coltrane and this hard bop album just spoke to me and my mood as a perfect song to pick. This is a great song and album from some of the greatest musicians ever to pick up instruments. Everything and every movement in this piece is just flawless; it would've been amazing to have been there to see John Coltrane and his band live.

Okay, What is this "Song a Day Blog?" Well, this is a hobby of mine that I have been at for over 18 years now, (since September First, 2007), in which I set aside a few minutes every day to create my ultimate playlist in a diary form, if you will. I try to add a different song each day and share with those who are interested as to why I like the song and the artist that performed it and/or maybe some facts about them.
