I have found it odd how some songs from this period come to realize that even though I was more or less indifferent to them, they were, in fact, ones I look very fondly on and were part of the soundtrack of my teenage years.
Whilst Tag Team is considered a "One Hit Wonder" by many, they sure did astronomically knock it out of the park. With the positive energy that ramps up a crowd it is no surprise that it became big with sporting events and other public events that require high-energy participation. Also, it has stayed in pop culture without fail for over 30 years now in about everything you could name; dang, now I feel old.... Okay, What is this "Song a Day Blog?" Well, this is a hobby of mine that I have been at for over 18 years now, (since September First, 2007), in which I set aside a few minutes every day to create my ultimate playlist in a diary form, if you will. I try to add a different song each day and share with those who are interested as to why I like the song and the artist that performed it and/or maybe some facts about them.
