Savatage, and the related bands for that matter, are another comforting band that gets me through rough patches. And since discovering that next year will be their first new studio release, (Curtain Call), since 2001's Poets and Madmen, I've been listening to them a lot more frequently; kind of hyping myself up for it. Whilst I am aware this will probably be it for Savatage and Jon Oliva's Pain as far as new material, I will savour it and the back catalogue. Okay, What is this "Song a Day Blog?" Well, this is a hobby of mine that I have been at for over 18 years now, (since September First, 2007), in which I set aside a few minutes every day to create my ultimate playlist in a diary form, if you will. I try to add a different song each day and share with those who are interested as to why I like the song and the artist that performed it and/or maybe some facts about them.
