You can hear the influence of such pivotal folk singers and songwriters that were part of the instrument of change like Woody Gutherie, Pete Seeger, Joe Hill, Florence Reece, and so many more you could mention, in this song in particular. Okay, What is this "Song a Day Blog?" Well, this is a hobby of mine that I have been at for over 18 years now, (since September First, 2007), in which I set aside a few minutes every day to create my ultimate playlist in a diary form, if you will. I try to add a different song each day and share with those who are interested as to why I like the song and the artist that performed it and/or maybe some facts about them.
