Say what you like about James Brown, but the man would not leave an ounce of energy behind after a performance; he always gave the audience their money's worth and then some. Even in the studio this was evident; you still, 40+ years after the fact can still hear and feel that energy when you drop the needle/press play. Okay, What is this "Song a Day Blog?" Well, this is a hobby of mine that I have been at for over 18 years now, (since September First, 2007), in which I set aside a few minutes every day to create my ultimate playlist in a diary form, if you will. I try to add a different song each day and share with those who are interested as to why I like the song and the artist that performed it and/or maybe some facts about them.
