This jazzy pop number was the second single off of his debut album; it reminds me a lot of Dr. John, which is not surprising since David Essex was a fan of his. I love bands like these where they are essentially a "supergroup," but instead of already successful musicians joining forces, these are successful musicians in the making that would go on elsewhere for it.
