I've been getting more and more into this amazing Swedish metal band ever since discovering them a couple of years ago. I was listening to this album for the first time the other day and this was one of the songs that caught me attention upon the first ten seconds or so into it. This track in particular reminds me a bit of Blue Öyster Cult with a noted Iron Maiden influence thrown in. It's an excellent track off of an album that is quickly becoming on of my favourites from the band.

This one is a standard from during the height of The War, originally written by Harold Arlen and Johnny Mercer. From wot I understand the title and main idea of the song was borrowed from a sermon by a popular preacher at the time, Father Divine , which translated very well into an upbeat song. Anyway, I have had this concept record by Paul Kantner and company on my mind off and on over the last bit and decided now would be a good time to choose another track from it. This is the "grand finale" of the "space opera" concept, which features a big group of who's who from the folk rock scene at the time contributing on this track and a few others. Starship features the lead guitar of the late-great Jerry Garcia, although you really wouldn't need to be told that because it is so obvious his sound and style.
