Song 506 ( Miles Davis - Flamenco Sketches )

This song is easily one of my absolute favorite Miles Davis tracks. It is a very mellow Jazz composition that is quite listenable even to those who are not fans of Jazz. The song is experimental in that there is no definitive melody present; instead there was a lot of improvisation as well as the use of modal scales.

Okay, What is this "Song a Day Blog?" Well, this is a hobby of mine that I have been at for over 18 years now, (since September First, 2007), in which I set aside a few minutes every day to create my ultimate playlist in a diary form, if you will. I try to add a different song each day and share with those who are interested as to why I like the song and the artist that performed it and/or maybe some facts about them.
