I am need of some Allman Brothers music this morning and I remembered this nice Jazz Fusion track from their Idlewild South album.
What is so awesome about the earlier Allman Brothers music is the fact that they had not one, but two guitar legends in the group. This instrumental was an excellent vehicle for showcasing both Duane Allman's and Richard "Dickey" Betts' amazing skills on the guitar. Not to say that they are the only highlight; the entire band is simply amazing.
