I cannot even count the times I have heard this song; my mom played this song and album a lot whilst I was growing up.
This is a rather sad song telling a tale about a man who is looking up a lost love with whom he discovered he fathered a child. After asking a child who he suspects is his what her mother's name is and offering candy if she told, he gets in trouble and unable to ever find out.
