I'm having a rather busy day, so I'm making kind of a quick pick. I happened to look over what was going on musically in the year 1843, (the number of my song pick today), and noticed this great waltz from Johann Strauss the Elder made its debut.
I don't know what it is, but I've always found waltzes quite rousing; they are almost perfect to have playing whilst you work.

Okay, What is this "Song a Day Blog?" Well, this is a hobby of mine that I have been at for over 18 years now, (since September First, 2007), in which I set aside a few minutes every day to create my ultimate playlist in a diary form, if you will. I try to add a different song each day and share with those who are interested as to why I like the song and the artist that performed it and/or maybe some facts about them.
