Had this album on my mind last night once again; thought I'd go with another one, or in this case two from this epic retelling of the H.G. Wells classic set to music.
The Red Weed is split into two parts and actually "sandwiches" another track: The Spirit of Man. The second part is especially cool in that you get to hear the late-great Phil Lynott as the character Parsons Nathaniel, which is pure awesomeness! From: Cargo ; Year: 1983; Genre: New Wave Having Men at Work on my brain today; I have not chosen one of their songs in quite some time, and only one to boot. This is one of their better hits that, even if you don't know it by title, you should immediately recognize it especially if you were around in the '80s and '90s. Although it has been in and out of popular culture over the years, so some younger individuals might know it from a television programme or such. Mike Oldfield , who was also one of the song's writers, recorded and released it just prior. Today I received notice that a blog post, number 100 to be exact , allegedly infringed upon someone's copyright. I have not been given any other information other than just that. What is odd here is that no one Else's actual "intellectual property" is even on my blog; I am unsure as to what it is referring to because everything in the post was either written by me, therefore my intellectual property, or is linked to another website. I am assuming that they are either mad about my links to the YouTube video with the song, (which belongs to someone Else's Google YouTube account), or perhaps the album artwork, which was hosted by another website.
