It has been a very busy Sunday and this song was one that came on my list today. This was the first song that I had ever heard by Slade that introduced me to their sound. This party anthem of sorts is quite rollicking, straight-forward rock.

However, this, the original doesn't really get played as much as it should. LaVern Baker has one of those blues/rock 'n roll voices that I just adore; powerful and gritty with sweetness throughout.
