This morning I woke up to the first heavy frost covering everything and I knew that the warm days are a thing of the past and winter is knocking at the door. This piece of music came to my mind while I was thinking about preparing for the changes in the weather.
This is one of the pieces from a suite of music that he used the seasons as the subject matter: 1. Summer, 2. Fall, 3. Winter, 4. Late Winter/Early Spring, and 5. Spring. There are a lot of memories for me connected to this suite of music. In this song he shows off his singer/songwriter talents in spades, the vocals and musical arrangements are incredible, as always.
