1160 Steeleye Span - Lovely on the Water

1160 Steeleye Span - Lovely on the Water

I felt like some Steeleye Span today; this song hails from their second album: Please to See the King. As with much of the music in their catalogue, this is a traditional Folk song arranged in their signature British Electric Folk/Rock sound. There is an interesting factoid about Steeleye Span at this point; they had no drummer. What is odd is that you really don't miss the drums in their music, which is probably due to the nature of the music and other instruments taking up the slack.
