Had this catchy tune on the brain whilst working on my car last night; thought it would be a good choice.
Originally recorded and became a huge hit by Little Eva, Grand Funk Railroad put it on this record out of a episode of spontaneity whilst messing around in the studio. This one is a standard from during the height of The War, originally written by Harold Arlen and Johnny Mercer. From wot I understand the title and main idea of the song was borrowed from a sermon by a popular preacher at the time, Father Divine , which translated very well into an upbeat song. They might've been one of the preeminent alternative rock bands, but their influences really came through on this one.
