Another track I had on my mind recently; I always assumed it was The Four Seasons that performed it, but I was in error. In my defense, I never looked the song up until the other day and was surprised. This one is a standard from during the height of The War, originally written by Harold Arlen and Johnny Mercer. From wot I understand the title and main idea of the song was borrowed from a sermon by a popular preacher at the time, Father Divine , which translated very well into an upbeat song. They might've been one of the preeminent alternative rock bands, but their influences really came through on this one.
