From: Operation: Mindcrime, Year: 1988
Genre: Progressive Metal

I've had Operation: Mindcrime playing almost constantly this morning.
This track comes in early in the story that makes up the album; at the point in the story Nikki, (the protagonist), wakes up in a hospital bed remembering what has happened to him. He had become disenfranchised with the corruptness of society and joined a revolutionist group headed by Dr. X.
What's neat about this song, along with most of the songs on the album, is that it can be played all by itself outside the greater concept album without really losing anything.

Here is the music video on YouTube.
