I had Bird on my brain this morning, so I'm picking one of his songs today. This is a Jazz standard originally written by George Gershwin for the opera Porgy and Bess. It has been covered by many across different genres, but mostly in Jazz.
This is a very beautiful version of the song having the legendary saxophonist being backed by string accompaniment.

1411 Nightwish - Last of the Wilds (Erämaan viimeinen) From: Dark Passion Play , Year: 2007 Genre: Symphonic Metal/Folk Metal Been meaning to pick another Nightwish track for a while now. This is quite a neat track, the Uilleann bagpipes really add a lot to the sound. The song actually has two versions: Last of the Wilds is an instrumental, which was released worldwide on their Dark Passion Play album. Erämaan viimeinen is essentially the same song with vocals sung in Finnish; this version apparently was only released in their native Finland.
