After a year of commercials from candidates bombarding me with ads telling me how his/her opponent is the devil incarnate and that he/she is the better liar, I could not let this day go by without picking this one.

This one is a standard from during the height of The War, originally written by Harold Arlen and Johnny Mercer. They might've been one of the preeminent alternative rock bands, but their influences really came through on this one.
