From: With a Little Help From My Friends; Year: 1968; Genre: Soul/Hard Rock
Taking a day off from picking Christmas music today. Yesterday I learned that Joe Cocker passed away; a writeup can be read here on BBC.
Anyway, I figured that I would pick his biggest hit and one of my favourites from his catalogue. In my opinion this was always far and gone the best version of this Lennon/McCartney classic; so much soul and power. Rest in Peace Mad Dog.
