From: Tea for the Tillerman; Year: 1970; Genre: Folk Rock
I have absolutely no clue as to why I felt like picking a Cat Stevens' song today. I've never really been a fan of him or his original recordings, but I definitely admire his songwriting ability and usually like hearing other artists cover his songs. I'm not sure why I've never warmed up to his original material; I mean, there's a lot of music I like that many others despise, but ya know, different strokes for different folks.
Anyway, I heard his music a lot whilst growing up; it was everywhere, and I mean everywhere, and there is something nostalgic about his original recordings I suppose.
