At one point when I was younger I really did not like this song, but over the years it's grown on me, perhaps part of the evolution of my musical tastes.
Anywho... Old Man has a lot going on musically. James Taylor plays a counter line on the banjo, which adds a lot, but I especially love the steel guitar.
